April 2012

This month (aside from visiting some blossoms in DC!)

1. Joinedthe ensemble at HB Playwrights (http://www.hbplaywrights.org/season.htm) under the direction of Alexander Harrington. Our June production will be entitled Behind the Throne and will be a collection of some of Shakespeare’s history plays. I am very eager to be working with the entire ensemble some of which I have had the pleasure of working with before.

2. Continued with Cigarette, which was offered time at a Long Island Arts Festival (details to come!)

March 2012

This month (aside from turning another year!)

1. Closed 12th Night: Wall Street or What Will at Looking Glass Theatre with Co-Op Theatre East (http://cooptheatreeast.org/). Check out what you missed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH_x8QSvwhM&feature=player_embedded).

2. Opened Cigarette, which is being directed by Rebecca Perlman at Secret Theatre's One Act Factor (http://www.secrettheatre.com/oneact_info.html). Went to the semi-finals and then the finals! Now we'll be taking the show to another venue in Long Island City. Details to come!

This month (aside from Peking Duck Chinese New Year Celebration!)

1. After a small hurtle with the location we wrapped Guard (directed by Graham Marvin), more info at (http://www.indiegogo.com/Guard) the last week in February.  I uploaded pictures of the overnight shoots so check them out! Looking forward to seeing the whole story put together and watching it on the big screen at NYU’s First Run Festival next April (http://www.firstrunfestival.com/).

This month (aside from a New Year!)

1. Had our first rehearsals for Guard (directed by Graham Marvin), more info at (http://www.indiegogo.com/Guard).  The Indiegogo campaign brought in over $4,000. With a crew of 20 ready to work the project I’m ready to hit the ground running.  Filming starts in February for two weekends and post-production will be completed by early summer! The short will be submitted to NYU’s First Run Festival next April (http://www.firstrunfestival.com/).
